Leading team of Formulators, Process Engineers and Analytical Experts (8 Direct Reports) to deliver Global Product Optimization projects (Geo-Expansion, Re-Formulation & Value Engineering) for Oral & Skin Health Categories.
Coordinate and Supervise key projects by creating strategy, DoE with scientific rationale, create Business Proposal, Project plans, Risk & Mitigation strategy ensuring alignment with global stakeholders.
Build Capability (Team & Infrastructure), Resource management, creating project prioritization matrix along with key deliverables, timelines and stakeholder’s management in matrix organization.
Key Achievements :
Established Product Optimisation Group for delivering Projects in Reformulation (250MGBP); Value Engineering (Savings 5MGBP).
Created Reformulation of global Oral & Skin Care brands Sensodyne,Paradontox,Aquafresh (Toothpaste),Corsodyl (Mouthwash), Polident (Denture Care) , Physiogel, Fenistil, Oilatum and SunMax (Skin care) product range by creating strategy, DoE, Material characterisation studies, Project plans, Monitoring Execution and Delivery as per project timelines.
Championed Sustainability and VE Initiatives (Raw Materials & Packaging Materials) by qualification of newer Surfactants, Emulsifiers, Microbeads-alternative, harmonisation of Silica Suppliers, to reduce Carbon foot print and drive Profitability.
Monitored Product – Package compatibility studies, various packaging material qualification studies to qualify materials from Global & Local tube suppliers BETTS, AMCOR, REXAM, Huhtamaki, Aptar, EsselPropak to generate saving 2MGBP/annum
